Design Improvement #1
3mm lanyard attachment loop

Upon production using the new tooling, all DetectaPen® and clipped ECO DetectaPen® models will feature a 3mm hole for attaching a stainless steel lanyard to the pen. This feature was only previously available on one pen model. This change will mean customers have significantly wider choice of pens to choose from where pens are required to be attached to an operative or workstation.

High quality matt finish

We’re proud to have the best detectable pens available on the market, now we’ve taken the opportunity to switch from a sheen to a matt finish. It’s a small change, but it looks and feels great.

Easier inspection system testing

Our handy new XDETECT® test piece will assist engineers in ensuring that their system can detect our material. No longer will you need to chop lumps from your favourite pens and items, you can now choose from a selection of sample pieces supplied together on one handy reel. Samples include: 2.0, 4.0, 6.0 and 8.0mm cubes, 3.0, 7.0 and 11.0mm spheres, a 20x10x2mm rectangle and a variable diameter 60mm rod.
