The PBT bristle material has very low moisture absorption, high temperature resistance, good wear resistance and can be autoclaved. Stray bristles are designed to be detected by in line metal detection systems which are widely used throughout the food industry. By being detected, contaminated food can be automatically rejected, actively reducing foreign body contamination associated with regular brush bristles.
A metal detectable product is made fully from detectable materials and has the potential to be detected on most industrial metal detection systems. These materials may be metallic or plastic/rubber with special ferromagnetic additives.
