It also features a swift blade change facility to minimise downtime in the event of blade becoming blunt, and a loop for fixing to a lanyard. Replacement GR8 Pro Blades are also available.
The pointed metal tip of the GR8 is design to pierce packaging, gaining the blade access to cut along the material. The tip of the moving blade also acts as a non-sharp tape cutter, for running along taped up packages to cut the tape. Though sharp enough to cut the tape, this is not sharp enough to cut skin and is pocket safe.
